Assistant / Systems Security Engineer - #1131128

Role Overview

This role implements and supports the security, stability, and operation of the system and infrastructure environments. The appointed level will be determined after assessing the candidate’s hands-on experience, technical competency, and ability to work independently.

Role Scope

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and security of system and infrastructure environments across Windows and Linux platforms

• Support or perform cybersecurity operations activities, including security monitoring, incident response, and remediation

• Perform or assist in network and system security monitoring using SIEM and related tools

• Work with IT operations and cybersecurity teams to implement mitigation and remediation actions

• Support or act as the point of contact for IT operations and audits, including documentation and audit coordination

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and technical documentation

• Support vulnerability management, system hardening, and security improvement initiatives

• Support project delivery and operational readiness activities

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

• Fresh graduates with strong hands-on experience are welcome to apply

• Alternatively, up to 2 years of relevant experience in systems, infrastructure, or cybersecurity roles

• knowledge of Windows or Linux systems, networking, and security concepts

• Strong interest in systems security and cybersecurity operations

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
