Manager / AM, HR Strategy Planning & Compensation

We are looking for a seasoned and detail-focused HR to lead and manage the company’s HR strategy planning, compensation frameworks and policy governance. This role will provide critical management support to the Human Resources department, with key responsibilities including the enhancement of compensation and payroll operations, delivering strategic insights on compensation matters, preparing management presentation and reports, supporting data-driven decision-making, and ensuring effective communication and project coordination within HR and across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Governance

  • Lead the development, review, and continuous improvement of HR strategies, frameworks, and policies.

  • Ensure governance, harmonisation and alignment of HR policies between 2 business entities with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with HR leadership to drive long-term workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits:

·       You will assist Head of HR to design and implement proactive compensation related strategies, review compensation polices and payroll processes. Provide guidance and support to management on compensation-related matters.

·       Assist in the development and implementation of Compensation related policies, procedures, and guidelines.

·       Manage the agencies funding programmes, annual salary review process, bonuses and promotions. Ensure an equitable compensation strategy to attract and retain, foster employees job satisfaction to drive business performance.

·       Monitor and keep track of Manpower Costs and HR budgets to ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources.

·       Managing company’s employees benefits programme, including health, insurance, and retirement plans.

·       Conduct research on and stay abreast of HR best practices, industry emerging trends and relevant legislation in HR management and analytics.

Reporting & Data Analysis:

·       Deliver high-quality management reports, dashboards, and compensation-related analysis to support strategic decision-making.

·       Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics to monitor workforce trends and performance indicators.

·       Prepare presentation materials for management, EXCO, and Board-level discussions.

·       Translate complex data sets into clear and concise reports and presentations to effectively communicate key HR information and insights for various audiences for HR meetings.

·       Utilize HRIS and other analytical tools to extract, clean, analyze and interpret HR data, generate HR-related reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

·       Identify trends, patterns, and insights from HR data to support the development of effective HR strategies and initiatives.

·       Provide recommendations based on data insights to improve HR processes, policies, and practices.

·       Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc HR reports (for senior management) to track key metrics, employee trends, and department performance indicators.

Project Management:

·       Manage HR projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project objectives and budget.

·       Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the HR teams and with cross-functional stakeholders.

·       Support change management efforts related to new HR systems, policies, or compensation frameworks.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

·       Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques. Experience in HR analytics, reporting, and data interpretation is an added advantage.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS platforms.

·       Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR information.

·       Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

·       Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and multitask effectively.
