Cleantec Engineering (S) Pte Ltd
About Cleantec Engineering
Cleantec Engineering is a premier cleanroom equipment manufacturer and turnkey solutions provider. We deliver complete controlled environments, managing everything from architectural and electrical systems to final equipment installation. With our own dedicated in-house installation team, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) across every project site.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive Safety Coordinator to lead our on-site safety efforts. You will be responsible for the entire safety documentation lifecycle—creating Risk Assessments (RA), Method of Statements (MOS), and Safe Work Procedures (SWP)—and ensuring these are strictly followed by our installation teams. You will be the primary safety point of contact for clients, authorities, and our internal staff.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Documentation: Develop, review, and update project-specific Risk Assessments (RA), Method of Statements (MOS), and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) for all construction activities (Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural).
On-Site Supervision: Conduct daily site safety inspections and walk-throughs to identify hazards and ensure our manpower is adhering to established safety protocols and wearing proper PPE.
Safety Meetings: Lead daily Toolbox Meetings and weekly safety briefings. Represent the company in client-led safety coordination meetings and site audits.
Permit-to-Work (PTW): Manage and verify the Permit-to-Work system for high-risk activities (e.g., hot work, working at heights, or electrical isolation).
Incident Management: Investigate any near-misses or accidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and other local regulatory requirements (e.g., MOM standards).
Requirements
Certification: Must possess a valid Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent Safety Coordinator training (e.g., BCSS).
Experience: Experience as a Safety Coordinator in the construction industry. Experience in cleanroom, semiconductor, or pharmaceutical projects is a strong plus.
Documentation Skills: Proven ability to draft professional and technical RA/MOS/SWP documents that pass client and regulatory scrutiny.
Communication: Strong command of English; ability to communicate safety requirements clearly to both management and site workers.
Physicality: Comfortable being based on-site and performing regular inspections in construction environments.
Why Join Us?
Direct Impact: Work for a company where safety is integrated into the design and manufacturing process.
Specialized Environment: Gain experience in the highly technical field of cleanroom construction.
Stability: Join a growing team with a strong pipeline of turnkey projects.
