Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and supervise the export operations team to achieve performance and service targets.

• Oversee daily export operations, including inbound handling, storage, packing, pick and pack, bookings, AWB, BL, manifest checks, and documentation accuracy.

• Liaise with shipping lines, customers, and agents to resolve operational issues, delays, and disputes promptly.

• Monitor workflows and allocate resources effectively to ensure on-time cargo delivery and smooth documentation flow.

• Implement and enforce SOPs, ensuring compliance with carrier, customs, and internal requirements, and review export documentation accuracy.

• Report on team performance, operational issues, and improvement opportunities, making independent decisions to maintain service standards.

Key Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of export shipping procedures, documentation requirements, and port operations.

• Good understanding of international trade regulations and Incoterms.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Navision and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an added advantage.

• Possess a valid PSA Forklift Licence.

• Demonstrate excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
