Facilities Technician (Manufacturing Industry)

• Assist the Manager in the daily operations of the equipment and facilities.

• Conduct regular inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive and corrective maintenance work.

• Carry out troubleshooting and minor repairs to building works and M&E works including air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing and fire protection system.

• Coordinate with contractors for repair and preventive maintenance of facility-related equipment.

• Operate fire pumps or diesel generators during emergencies or as assigned.  

• Support the Company Emergency Response Team and ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

• Any other assignments directed by the Management.

Requirements

• Preferably at least NITEC in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering / Facility Management

• Minimum 1-3 years relevant working experience in building / facilities servicing and maintenance

• Experience with mechanical/electrical installations and systems

• A team player with good interpersonal skills

• Possess strong initiative and good analytical skills

• Able to work on 5.5 days & public holidays.

• Willing to work long hours especially during festive seasons.
