Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in the planning, design, and day-to-day management of foundation and geotechnical engineering projects.
Prepare design calculations, technical drawings, and other engineering documentation.
Determine operational requirements and assist the Project Manager in preparing project schedules.
Liaise with sub-contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Coordinate with external vendors for document submissions to relevant authorities, when required.
Attend site meetings, facilitate communication among project team members, and resolve technical or operational issues.
Maintain and update project records for reporting and submission purposes.
Ensure timely delivery of projects in accordance with schedules.
Adhere to safety procedures, rules, and regulations, and proactively eliminate workplace hazards.
Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager related to project execution.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, from a PE Board-recognized university.
Passion for and knowledge of foundation or geotechnical engineering works.
Strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.
Willingness to work on construction sites and travel between project locations to monitor progress.
