Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and leadership in the maintenance and quality assurance of national measurement standards related to length and dimensional precision.

• Participate in measurement comparisons to establish international equivalence in length and dimensional measurement capabilities.

• Achieve international recognition for calibration and measurement capabilities through peer-reviews by external experts, while also undertaking peer-reviews of other national metrology institutes.

• Disseminate national length and dimensional standards and measurement technologies to industry through calibration services and R&D efforts in metrology.

• Develop new measurement solutions and build metrology capabilities based on emerging industry needs; enhance technical competencies of laboratory personnel through targeted programs.

Requirements:

• A relevant degree in science, engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in semiconductors, precision engineering, electronics, or length and dimensional metrology.

• Familiarity with instrumentation and statistical analysis techniques.

• Knowledge in optics, laser technology, and nanotechnology, as well as experience in coordinate measurement and surface metrology, is advantageous.

• Proficient in automation and digital tools; experience in technical and project management is favorable.

• Strong team collaboration and problem-solving skills, alongside effective verbal and written communication abilities.
