About the role

This is a part-time English Tutor role with Link Studies Technology Private Limited in Chinatown Central Region. As an English Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring services to help students of all ages improve their English language skills. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and passion for the English language, while contributing to the educational development of the local community.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and delivering engaging, personalised English lessons to individual students or small groups

2. Assessing students' English proficiency levels and tailoring lesson plans accordingly

3. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to support their learning and development

4. Collaborating with parents/guardians to understand students' needs and ensure their educational goals are met

5. Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, lesson plans and progress

6. Continuously updating your knowledge of English language teaching methods and techniques

What we're looking for

1. Relevant qualifications in English, Education or a related field

2. Minimum 2 years' experience in English tutoring or teaching

3. Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken

4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students and parents

5. Patience, creativity and the ability to adapt teaching styles to suit individual student needs

6. Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education
