Project Manager (Data Center) (Ref: GCL) - #1129732

Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Management team in coordinating with various departments to secure necessary resources for projects under your direct supervision.

• Understand customer requirements to meet overall project objectives and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Participate in project meetings with clients and stakeholders for all assigned projects.

• Assist Project Management in implementing project schedules to ensure smooth and timely execution.

• Contribute to achieving the targeted profit margins for all managed projects.

• Maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal Vertiv divisions and departments.

• Coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services on-site effectively and efficiently.

• Supervise, motivate, and develop direct project team members to support continuous improvement and optimal performance.

• Ensure all installation works meet high-quality standards from purchase order to final payment.

• Attend project progress meetings and accurately interpret customer requirements.

• Provide customers with timely updates on the progress of all projects handled by your team.

• Assist the PMO Director and Project Management team in planning implementation schedules and allocating human resources to support smooth project delivery within budget and timeline.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering fields or equivalent with minimum 5 years working experience in enterprise and/or IT industry with major involvement in project management in the turnkey data centre site preparation works.

• Proven experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems is required.

• Strong knowledge in project management techniques and good communications skills.

• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
