Senior Service Desk & Asset Management Specialist - #1129729

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally addressing IT-related needs and concerns.

• Manage IT service incidents reported through the Service Desk Support Portal, covering personal computers, networks, platforms, and applications.

• Troubleshoot, resolve, or provide alternative solutions to restore IT services within established Service Level Agreements (SLA).

• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support teams and provide timely status updates to users.

• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, incidents, and resolutions in the IT Service Desk Management System.

• Oversee the life cycle management of IT assets, including registration, tracking, deployment, recovery, and decommissioning of hardware devices and software licenses.

• Conduct PC hardware and software upgrades, including installation of patches, service packs, and applications.

• Track and manage software subscriptions and licenses to maintain compliance.

• Maintain hardware, software, and licensing metrics and provide regular reports.

• Stay updated on product knowledge, policies, and procedures to provide accurate guidance.

• Execute additional responsibilities as directed by the Head of IT Operations, Helpdesk Manager, or other designated personnel.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with school-based or related enterprise IT systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.

• High standard of customer service and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Google Workspace for Education, and Google Admin.

• Experience with JAMF and/or Microsoft Intune is an advantage.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to support:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 and later

  • Apple iOS and macOS

  • Microsoft Office 365 suite

  • Google Workspace

  • IT hardware for Apple and Windows devices
