Position Overview
The Clinic Nurse plays a key role in supporting doctors to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate healthcare services. This position involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, including patient care, clinical procedures, medication dispensing, and ensuring smooth daily clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
Perform blood taking, specimen collection, and proper labeling and handling of samples.
Administer vaccinations and assist in immunisation programs in accordance with MOH standards.
Support doctors in minor procedures (e.g. wound care, dressing, ECG, injections, nebulization, ear syringing).
Measure and record vital signs, and assist in basic patient triage.
Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilisation, and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation.
Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of the doctor, following clinic SOPs.
Operational & Administrative Duties
Assist with patient registration, appointment scheduling, and billing when required.
Maintain stock levels of consumables, vaccines, and medications, and assist in inventory management.
Ensure clinic equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
Uphold patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
Support the clinic team in ensuring smooth, efficient daily operations.
Requirements
Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) practising certificate.
Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.
Experience
Prior experience in a GP clinic, family practice, or primary care setting is preferred.
Minimum 3 years clinical experience
Skills & Attributes
Strong clinical skills in vaccination, phlebotomy, and basic procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to provide calm, reassuring care.
Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
Well-organised, reliable, and proactive in daily tasks.
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, clinic management systems).
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday, 8:30 AM - 2 PM
Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays
(Part-time positions or flexible schedules may be considered.)
