Shift Engineer - #1129597

• Lead the technicians to achieve smooth and safe plant operation and provides technical support for shift operation, process optimization and quality conformance.

• Responsible for process optimization and capacity improvement projects in the plant.

• Assist the Process Engineer to conduct activities and projects to optimize operation during Shift to achieve operational and cost efficiency.

• Troubleshoot plant/equipment/quality issues and recommend countermeasures.

• Monitor and ensure plant equipment integrity and reliability.

• Assist the Process Engineer to support Shift operation by providing suitable operating conditions for stable plant operation and product quality control.

Requirements:

• Possess Degree in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent, experience in petroleum, chemical or polymer industries is added advantage.

• Have knowledge of process control and troubleshooting, hands on knowledge of plant equipment and instrumentation.

• Essential prerequisites include good analytical and technical report writing skills, ability to be a team player with leadership, initiative, drive & commitment, able to take pressure and able to communicate well with others.

• This is a shift work position (i.e. Rotating AM and PM shifts, including weekends and Public Holiday) and there will be scheduled off days.

• Highly motivated, energetic individual, with inquiring mind set and willingness to take up new challenges

• Good interpersonal and communication.
