Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security configurations across IT infrastructure (e.g., M365, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Bitbucket)
• Guide IT managers of group companies in line with headquarters’ directives
• Monitor and analyze system logs regularly to ensure security compliance
• Stay updated on security vulnerabilities and take prompt corrective actions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for secure operations
• Handle client inquiries regarding proprietary applications
• Automate repetitive tasks using programming skills
• Monitor and maintain system metrics dashboards and alerts
• Educate colleagues and update IT infrastructure documentation
• Work closely with the Tech department at Japan HQ

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT-related fields with strong knowledge of security concepts
• Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
• Solid understanding of AWS, Azure (Entra), and/or GCP services related to software development
• Strong focus on automation and process improvement
• Familiarity with account management and data security protocols
• Experience in security monitoring and incident response
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to configure SIEM and Power BI tools is an added advantage
• Proficiency in additional languages such as Chinese, Malay, or Thai is an added advantage
• Experience with Cyber Incident Response Plan (CIRP), vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security incident response processes is an added advantage
• Knowledge of network security design and implementation is an added advantage
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and security tools is an added advantage
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable
