The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing projects and security support for the day-to-day security operations of the Retail outlets, Corporate Office as well as Security Operations Center. The incumbent shall also effectively monitor and present updates to the assigned stakeholders, Management or team members.
Role and Responsibilities:
Serve as a key point of client contact to ensure delivery of high quality customer service for the assigned site. Evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner
Provide direct management and security support for the day-to-day security operations of the Retail outlets, Corporate Office as well as Command Centre
Oversee and manage the security operations of a large team of security staff and provide overall administrative responsibilities of the local outsourced security team. Is the close liaison to the company which provides the security unit.
Maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures and act to ensure that all staff members understand and comply with the laws.
Assists in maintaining Quality in all Security operations and assists in the project management for Security.
Develop, plan, and manage all areas of security support which include physical and electronic security. Develop and deploy security processes and procedures, conduct assessments and audits to ensure all sites are operating within the company’s required guidelines
Conducts regular, random and surprise checks/inspections of Security operations and self- audits as directed.
Assists in developing, implementation and management of the Security Loss Reporting Program to ensure appropriate and timely loss notification to the client.
Conduct interviews and investigations on misconduct of the security team, reAporting back to Senior management. Developing action plans to close security gaps at all consumer electronics sites across the country
Actively build your teams - hiring, training, and developing team members to ensure security operations are not compromised
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma in Security or equivalent disciplined service qualification / experience
At least 5 years hands-on experience in an operational management role either civilian or disciplined services or commercial security experience
Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and manage a team of at least 50 + staff / guards at multiple customer locations.
Ability to efficiently manage and control assets of the company.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
Computer literate and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of financial, commercial and legal related matters an advantage
Be a customer service people oriented person
Minimally holds a PRD SS rank and be kept abreast of PRD / PWM training course requirements.
