Our client is a Japan-based company specializing in Lifeboat, Davit, Fire-Fighting Equipment (FFE), and Life-Saving Appliance (LSA) inspections. They are seeking a Service Engineer (Liferaft) to support inspection, servicing, and certification work both in Singapore and overseas.

Reporting To: Department Manager – Liferent

【 Responsibilities 】
- Perform annual and 5-yearly inspections, servicing, and certifications of liferafts.
- Conduct inflation tests, pressure tests, leak inspections, and repacking.
- Inspect and service Life-Saving Appliances (LSA) such as lifejackets, immersion suits, HRU (Hydrostatic Release Unit), EPIRB, and SART.
- Prepare service reports, inspection records, and certification documents.
- Provide technical explanations and after-service support to customers.
- Attend onboard, offshore, and shipyard servicing jobs.
- Support overseas service assignments and business trips when required.
- Ensure all servicing work complies with IMO, SOLAS, and Class requirements.
- Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
- Assist in servicing lifeboats and Fire-Fighting Equipment (FFE) as needed

【 Requirement & Preferences 】

(Must)
- Able to work safely onshore and offshore.
- Open to inexperience candidate, training will be provided.
- Physically fit and willing to work onboard vessels and in shipyard environments.
- Valid Singapore driving license (Class 3 / Manual transmission).


(Advantageous)
- Some experience as a Service Engineer in lifeboat, liferaft, or FFE servicing, covering various types of boats, rafts, and FFE.
