Delivery Truck Driver - #1129056

Job Description

1.     Loading / unloading of plants and products for incoming shipments and outgoing deliveries

2.     To check and verify outgoing items are consistent with the Delivery Orders

3.     Check Delivery Orders, Cash Bills, or Tax Invoices for sales delivery to ensure they are properly completed before leaving on delivery

4.     Follow pre-planned delivery routes, and make adjustments based on real-world conditions and customers' requests to ensure delivery is completed on time

5.     Deliver items to the correct location and follow the delivery SOP

6.     Clean and maintain assigned vehicle and accessories on a regular basis. Remind in-charge personnel for the scheduling of servicing, of necessary repair works, of vehicle inspection datelines, etc.

7.     Any other job scope or tasks to be appointed

Job Requirements

-          Possess a valid Class 3 Singapore driving license or more

-          Preferably 2 years of delivery experience

-          Familiar with Singapore routes

-          Possess a positive attitude and initiative

-          Experience with a 14-foot manual transmission lorry

-          Comfortable working outdoors

Working Day & Timing

5 1/2 days' work week

Some overtime work may be required, particularly around the main festive periods (i.e., in the run-up to Chinese New Year)
