Job Responsibilities

Operate the forklift for daily shelving and unshelving tasks at the Fishery Port in Boon Lay, ensuring loads are handled accurately and on time to support efficient warehouse flow. Strictly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safe forklift use, including pre-shift inspections of brakes, tires, lights, fluid levels, and load capacity before starting operations. Perform routine maintenance on the forklift, such as checking for defects, cleaning debris, and reporting issues to supervisors to prevent breakdowns.​

Safety and Compliance

Implement warehouse safety measures by adhering to regulations, maintaining clear pathways, wearing PPE like safety shoes and high-visibility gear, and staying aware of surroundings to protect personnel, equipment, and the facility. Conduct daily equipment checks and ensure stability during load handling to avoid tipping or accidents, aligning with guidelines like those from Singapore's TAL on forklift safety. Obey management instructions and collaborate with team members for smooth task completion.​

Working Conditions

Shifts run from 21:00 to 05:00, 5 to 6 days per week, suiting night operations at the Boon Lay Fishery Port.
