Job Title: Quality Inspector (Fresh Produce)

Location: Fishery Port (Boon Lay)
Choice of Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Working Days: 5 to 6 days per week

Responsibilities:

• Identify and inspect fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure quality standards are met.

• Conduct incoming and in-warehouse product inspections; identify and prevent substandard items from leaving the warehouse.

• Supervise sorting operations to ensure proper product handling and quality control.

• Communicate and follow up on product quality issues and abnormalities.

• Collaborate with supply chain teams to improve supplier, procurement, inspection, production, and logistics quality management.

• Prepare inspection reports, SOPs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Food Science, Food Safety, Biology, Agronomy, or related disciplines.

• Strong understanding of production process quality control and supplier audit procedures.

• Skilled in data analysis, report writing, and process/system development.

• Familiar with national food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Candidates with HACCP, ISO 22000, or relevant testing certificates will have an advantage.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in fresh produce or food inspection, preferably in food companies or testing agencies.

• Good communication, coordination, and team management skills.

• Basic English proficiency required.
