 Responsibilities and Job Scope:

1.0 Quality management system

·         Develop the company’s quality program, includes policies, objectives, plans, procedures, methods and ensure the documentations of the program.

·         Appointed as Management Representative for QMS

·         Ensure effective establishment and implementation of Quality Management System.

·         Approval of QMS documents

·         Manage QMS implementation and handle customers’ and ISO audits

2.0 Quality performance of GDP and GDM

·         Responsible for the quality performance of GDP Singapore and GDM

·         Coordinate and work as a team with respective HOD in GDM, Malaysia and GDP Singapore so as to facilitate adequate inspection facilities and equipment for inspection, testing and measuring the quality of the company products.

3.0 Quality mindset

·         Inculcate quality mindset in the company:

> “Do it right the first time!”

> “Do not pass defective parts to the next operation!”

> “Do not deliver rejects to the customers!”

> “Let customers have a good night rest!”

4.0 Interface with customers on quality issues

·         Ensure product quality is consistent to customer requirements and CAR / PAR are timely closed.

·         Interface, resolve and present to the customers on findings of the technical/quality issues and recommend improvement initiatives.

·         Reviews technical problems and procedures of departments and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures.

5.0 Daily quality interactions with production

·         Ensure that Incoming Inspection, Frist Article Inspection,1st piece Inspection, Frequency Inspection (Patrol), Final Out-going Inspection must be made according to Quality Assurance Management so as to meet On-Time-Delivery (OTD)

·         Stop production when encounter major quality problem or process capability is not statistically capable.

·         Stop delivery of any suspected non-conforming product.

·         Assign subordinates or member of the team to qualify and disqualify vendor.

·         Approval of quality plan and deviation disposition.

·         Execute. Quality Improvement Programs

·          

6.0 Quality meetings/ training/others

·         Conduct weekly quality meeting to address quality issues faced

·         Conduct monthly Quality Conference Meeting.

·         To attend training for job improvement as and when required in Singapore plant, GDP

·         Compliance with the company Non-Disclosure Agreement

·         Any other ad hoc duties assigned
