• Position : Electrical Technician (Switchgear) – Up to $4,500 + OT – Alexandra - ALL WELCOME!

• Location : Alexandra

• Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8AM to 5PM / 8.30AM to 5.30PM / 9AM to 6PM / 9.30AM to 6.30PM / 10AM to 7PM

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3,500 Basic + OT + $1,000 Transport Allowance + Completion Bonus + Medical Benefits ($500/year) with Dependents Coverage + 18 - 21 Days Annual Leave + Company Activities + Company Trips

• Duration : Years Contract (Renewable or Convertible to Perm) 

• Industry : Automation 

Responsibilities: 

• Safely operate and monitor SPPA’s 6.6kV and 22kV high-voltage distribution equipment, systems, and apparatus.

• Receive, clarify, and execute switching and operational instructions from the Authorised Person (AP) with a high degree of accuracy.

• Assist in the implementation of safety protocols, including permit-to-work systems and isolation procedures.

• Conduct routine inspections and monitoring of HV network performance to ensure system integrity.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Switching Personnel for 22/6.6KV switchgear; experience with SPPG projects will be an advantage.

• Candidates who have completed and passed relevant training courses for Operation Personnel will be considered an advantage.

• Must Possess driving license with own vehicle
