Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and versatile Sales Interior Designer with Accounts/Admin responsibilities. This role involves handling sales enquiries (organic & digital), providing interior design sales support, preparing quotations, managing pricing and costing, and performing Accounts Receivable (AR) and basic bookkeeping tasks.
The ideal candidate is productive, eager to learn, able to work independently and in a team, and confident in asking questions when needed. They should stay updated with design trends and ensure all quotations meet company pricing standards to prevent loss.
Job Responsibilities
Handle incoming sales enquiries from digital and organic channels.
Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and quotations for interior design projects.
Manage project pricing, costing, and supplier quotations to ensure accuracy and profitability.
Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, and market pricing.
Work closely with the sales and design team to ensure quotations stay within company guidelines.
Support sales closure by providing accurate, updated, and competitive quotations.
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients when necessary.
Ensure all costing, pricing, and quotation details follow company cost standards.
Review team quotations to ensure no errors, discrepancies, or losses.
Track cost changes and update internal records accordingly.
Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks including invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-ups.
Perform basic bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
Monitor payment schedules, issue reminders, and ensure timely collections.
Assist with administrative duties such as documentation, filing, and system updates.
Work effectively as both an independent contributor and a team player.
Communicate professionally and tactfully when facing challenges or problem-solving.
Ask questions proactively when unsure and show willingness to learn.
Maintain a calm, solution-oriented approach in high-pressure situations.
Requirements
Experience in interior design sales, admin, accounts, or a related field is an advantage.
Knowledge of interior design trends, materials, costing, and vendor pricing preferred.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiar with AR processes and basic bookkeeping.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
