About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Rewinder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electric motors and mechanical systems. You will also ensure machinery operates efficiently through preventive maintenance and timely repairs. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

1.     Installation

•       Set up and install machinery or mechanical systems.

•       Assemble parts and components based on technical drawings or manuals.

•       Test newly installed equipment to ensure proper function.

2.     Maintenance

•       Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines.

•       Inspect mechanical systems for wear and tear, leaks, or damage.

•       Lubricate, clean, and calibrate machines to ensure optimal performance.

3.     Troubleshooting and Repair

•       Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and minor electrical issues.

•       Replace or repair faulty components like motors, bearings, belts, and gears.

•       Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics to identify problems.

4.     Documentation and Reporting

•       Keep records of maintenance, repairs, and machine performance.

•       Report major issues to supervisors or engineers.

•       Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

5.     Communication and Coordination

•       Provide feedback for improvements in machine design or maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude

• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

• Problem-solving and critical thinking

• Experience with tools and diagnostic equipment
