Research and Development Engineer (Medical Devices / Manufacturing) - #1127898

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs and market feedback into new product concepts and lead the design activities required to bring them to development stage.

• Oversee updates and enhancements to existing products, ensuring improvements address user concerns and internal engineering inputs.

• Partner with cross-functional teams—such as quality, manufacturing, and supply chain—to drive improvements in performance, cost efficiency, and overall reliability.

• Contribute to project coordination efforts for ongoing development work, ensuring timelines, documentation, and technical deliverables remain on track.

• Support engineering initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned to meet project and organizational goals.

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the medical device sector with involvement in new product development and project coordination.

• Strong mechanical design capability, including work on complex plastic and metal components using Creo or similar CAD tools.

• Familiarity with medical device design controls and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 13485 or FDA QSR.

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes like plastic injection molding and metal machining.

• Strong problem-solving ability and effective communication across cross-functional teams
