Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification, assessment, and management of process hazards.

• Investigate and analyze process safety incidents to improve safety practices.

• Oversee the Management of Change (MOC) process and maintain the associated database.

• Advise on the design and operation of process control systems.

• Ensure adherence to process safety goals at the site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with approximately 10 years of experience in the sector.

• Strong knowledge of chemical plant operations and process engineering, including ESH compliance programs.

• Detailed understanding of risk and hazard management processes such as HAZOP, LOPA, ETA, QRA, etc.

• In-depth knowledge of safety safeguards, including interlocks, SIS design criteria, mechanical protection, and inherent safety design.

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• Good communication abilities and technical expertise to present information effectively.

• Proficiency in computer applications, including standard software, SAP, and effects modeling tools (e.g., PHAST).

• Commitment to staying updated on the latest engineering design developments.

• Prior experience in commissioning and startup operations will be advantageous.

• Willingness to work onsite at Jurong Island with company-provided transport.
