Job Summary
Assist the Facilities Management Manager on the critical facilities, soft services, hard services, and workplace safety and health ambit to ensure effective and uninterrupted functioning of the facility.
Responsibilities
Support the operation and maintenance of facilities and utilities such as chillers, make-up air units, air handling units, exhaust systems, electrical installations, fire protection system, town water supply system, plumbing, and sanitary. Perform first-line troubleshooting and corrective action preventative action
Provide 24/7 support, as and when required, in responding to facility breakdown, or other emergency situation so as to maintain consistent operational status
Ensure BMS and RMS run as per intended, respond to and rectify related anomalies and deviations, print monthly trend reports of each parameter and provide data analysis for further improvement
Ensure all the preventative maintenance and calibration of critical facilities, utility supply and hard services are carried out accordingly
Perform weekly inspections of the facility and ensure all issues are rectified and resolved in a timely manner
Manage soft services such as cleaning (cleanroom, office, ancillary areas), security, pest control and waste management as per SOP
Be familiar with relevant SOP and ensure all the facility’ documents are accurately filed
Solicit quotations from vendors, follow through procurement process and work closely with vendors and end users to ensure that works are well coordinated and completed on time
Monitor the performance of outsourced contacts
Carry out induction training and other specific training for employee and contractor
Assist in-house safety officer for WSH program, be a contributory member of WSH committee, and support the coordination of safety inspection as well as ensure all safety-related findings are resolved immediately
Manage and monitor the inventory of critical spare parts and personal protective equipment
Be involved in the internal and external audits.
Monitor the building structure, outgoing, and interior condition. Plan and coordinate accordingly to ensure the entire premises are safe to work.
Requirements
Minimum ITE qualifications with 3 years working experience in a manufacturing facility environment or fresh Diploma technical qualification
Knowledge and understanding of HVAC, ACMV, GMP clean room, WSH Act
Able to perform additional tasks on weekends and standby duties
Good interpersonal relationships and communication with contractors
Computer literacy with the ability to produce technical reports
Good understanding of workplace safety and health rules
