We are currently seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in our Joo Koon, Singapore office.
Key responsibilities
CNC Programming & Machining Optimization
· Develop, optimize, and document complex 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC programs using CAD/CAM Software for high-precision components.
· Design and procure custom tooling, fixtures, and gaging necessary to meet tight-tolerance specifications.
· Lead process validation and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities for new and revised machined parts.
· Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for machining deviations and non-conformances.
· Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce cycle time, scrap, and tool costs across the machine shop.
Special Process Engineering & Compliance
· Act as the technical expert and liaison for one or more of our key special processes (e.g., Welding, Heat Treatment, Anodizing/Plating, NDT).
· Develop, qualify, and maintain detailed special process work instructions, control plans, and procedures in compliance with industry standards (e.g., NADCAP, ISO, AS9100).
· Manage equipment qualification and calibration related to the special process area.
· Collaborate with Quality Assurance to manage and maintain required approvals (e.g., NADCAP accreditation) and resolve process audits findings.
· Identify opportunities for automation or improvement within the special process flow to enhance quality and throughput.
Must Have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
· 5+ years of progressive experience as a Manufacturing, CNC, or Process Engineer in a precision machining environment.
· Proven expertise in multi-axis CNC programming and machine tool setup/optimization.
· Demonstrated experience in a Special Process (Welding, or Heat Treatment, or Chemical Processing)
· Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
We Value:
· Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., Aerospace, Medical Devices)
· NADCAP internal auditing experience or experience leading NADCAP accreditation efforts.
· Formal training or certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
· Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP,) as they relate to routing and process documentation.
