About the Role

We are hiring a Service Sales Engineer (Retrofit) to manage HVAC/ACMV retrofit projects from design to execution. This role suits engineers who enjoy both hands-on technical work and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform project design, equipment selection, and system sizing based on customer specifications.

• Conduct site surveys, measurements, and attend pre-bid walkthroughs or tender interviews when required.

• Prepare and coordinate project plans, budgets, schedules, proposals, tender submissions, and documentation.

• Work closely with sales/customer consultants to prepare quotations and follow up on retrofit opportunities.

• Track project progress, prepare status reports, and ensure smooth execution within budget and timelines.

• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for quotations; compile costs and prepare costing sheets.

• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and customers.

• Participate in customer service reviews and support issue resolution with internal stakeholders.

• Provide market feedback on competition, customer expectations, and industry developments.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering/Building.

• 2–3 years’ experience in HVAC/ACMV (mandatory).

• Strong understanding of HVAC system types, components, and mechanical drawings.

• Able to interpret engineering documents and respond to technical matters from customers.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer management skills.

• Highly detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Project management experience is an advantage.
