IT Network Engineer, Permanent - #1127618

The IT Network Engineer is responsible for the system or network environments, from design through implementation and support.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing Data Centre network infrastructure services covering LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Network link/load balancers and other network appliances.

• Analyse technical requirements, perform network design, planning and setup of network systems

• Monitoring network performance and identifying and resolving issues to ensure reliable and efficient network operations

• Assisting with the implementation of new network technologies and infrastructure upgrades

• Document deployed solutions and proper handover to the operational team

• Skilled at diagnosing and resolving network issues within CCF deployments, including monitoring and maintenance tasks.

• Good understanding and exposure to Network Security. 

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma required, preferably in the field of computer science or other related academic fields.

• Min 2 years of experience managing and configuring VLANs, WANs, VPNs, etc.

• Certification in Network (CCNA) is preferred. Certification in CCNP is an added advantage

• Strong proficiency in managing complex network environments.

• Experience supporting networks in mission-critical 24/7 environments with strong understanding of disaster recovery and high availability strategies.

• Proven ability to lead projects, manage vendors, and communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.
