About the role

We are seeking an experienced Storeman to join our team at Electromech Electrical Enterprise Co Pte Ltd . This full-time position is responsible for the efficient and organised management of our store. You will play a vital role in supporting inter related Dept of Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Production.

Who you'll be reporting to

• General Manager

What you'll be doing

Receiving and Storing:

• Handle Daily Goods Receiving Duties, verifying accurate product items, quantities and quality against purchase orders

• Maintain proper documentation of all items received and issued

• Includes updating stock records and perform daily reporting via emails

• Placing items in designated locations within the warehouse. 

Order fulfilment:

• Handle Daily Picking and Packing, ensure accurate product items, quantities and quality based on Bill of Materials and Requisitions Forms for issuance to Production

• Maintain proper documentation of all items picked and issued

• Includes updating stock records and perform daily reporting via emails

Inventory management:

• Maintain proper & accurate records of goods stock levels and their location

• Tracking of Inventory movement

• Conducting regular stock take  

• Manual stock system via excel spreadsheet

• Initiates requisitions to replenish stock 

• To assist to plan and work to provide data information for conversion to computerised SAP System

Store maintenance:

• Keeping the store clean, organized, and safe, including ensuring proper storage of items and maintaining a tidy workspace at all times

• To ensure efficient of the store arrangement

 Assisting with logistics:

• Supporting the carrying and movement of goods within the store

• Driving of Forklift to assist Loading and unloading goods onto company vehicles/ receive goods from suppliers

Assist in general errand when required and perform ad hoc duties assigned

What we're looking for

• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail [i.e. Accuracy in counting items, recording information, and following instructions. ]

• Must have Forklift licence and current driving experience

• Must have at least 5 years in store and logistic experience

• Computer literate with knowledge of word & excel & outlook

• Able to start work immediately

• Ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as perform repetitive tasks. 

• Must be able to work in a fast paced, warehouse environment.

• Possess positive working attitude

• Bilingual  in English and Chinese

• SAP Knowledge 

• Resourceful, proactive with strong sense of responsibility

• Good teamwork skills 

• Willing to learn
