About the role

Vico Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team . As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery. What you'll be doing

• Prepare and analyse cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects

• Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the best value for the company

• Monitor and control project costs, providing regular reports and recommendations to the management team

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to optimise construction processes and minimize costs

• Provide expert advice and support on contractual and commercial matters to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and participate in the tender evaluation process

• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, Experience in HDBBTO project is referred.

• Thorough knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and project accounting principles

• Proficient in using relevant quantity surveying software and tools, such as CAD, BIM, and cost estimation software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
