Technician, Central Sterile Supplies Dept - #1126943

Key Responsibilities

• To be responsible for the daily maintenance and inspection of all the washer disinfectors, ultrasonic washer, cart washer, dryer, sterilizers and heat sealers.

• To be responsible for the collection, decontamination, packaging, sterilization and distribution of the sterilized instruments/equipments and bed frames according to the recommended standards and adheres strictly to the infection control protocols.

• Performs quality assured inspection of the instruments, equipments and linen before packaging for sterilization.

• Responsible for the proper documentation with T-Doc System of all items processed to enable traceability and for accurate billing.

• Responsible for checking and keeping a record of the stock level of all consumables and initiate appropriate action as required.

• Responsible to distribute sterilized items to the respective areas only after the validation of the sterilization process.

• Receives used bed frames from end-users for decontamination.

• Performs any other related duties assigned by Nurse in-charge.

Key Requirements

• Minimum GCE N Levels or Higher Certificate in Healthcare.

• 1 year of relevant experience in TSSU/CSSD or healthcare industry.
