Overseeing end-to-end finance operations, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis of financial accounts.
Play a key role in implementing best practices in order to identify and manage all financial and business risks and meet the organization’s desired business and fiscal goals.
Work collaboratively and proactively with relevant departments to analyze information needs and provide financial guidance to support overall business operations for decision-making.
Collaborate amongst project and quantity surveying teams on funding requirements, project key operational costs, and monthly cash flow while adhering to the terms agreed with the main contractor, asset owner, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure all NAVO / VO and claims are submitted within stipulated time frames.
Analyze the financial performance and position of the company and develop suitable policies to meet reporting requirements.
Review the preparation of consolidated financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts for management and stakeholders.
Analyze the finance performance plans and suggest improvements to increase the contract margin and cash profile.
Propose preventive and corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
Review and analyze the budget (actual vs budget) to assess potential variances.
Source and secure the most competitive providers for bonds and insurance required for the projects.
Plan and organize foreign currency requirements and monitor the forex movements with a procurement plan to ensure the group’s exposure risk is minimized.
Liaise and build relationships with bankers, insurance companies, corporate secretaries, and other regulatory bodies.
Prepare various financial reports for the management.
Ensure all financial work is in compliance with internal controls, policies, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum a degree in finance or equivalent professional qualification.
Preferably with 10 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
Meticulous and attention to detail.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Excellent proficiency with standard office applications, especially in MS Word & MS Excel.
5 days work week.
Location: Ubi.
