Facilities Technical Officer (ACMV) - #1125901

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Facilities Technical Officer with strong knowledge of ACMV/HVAC systems. You will oversee maintenance work, support building operations, and ensure all systems run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Facilities Engineers and Managers to solve building and design issues.

• Ensure all ACMV/HVAC maintenance and repair work is carried out efficiently by the technician team.

• Maintain daily indoor thermal comfort within acceptable levels.

• Ensure all work follows safety rules and quality standards.

• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

• Coordinate contractors for installation, servicing, and repair works.

• Check completed contractor work for safety and compliance.

• Prepare simple reports and documentation.

• Review system performance and suggest improvements.

• Lead root-cause analysis for equipment faults and support corrective actions.

Required Skills

• Able to assess the condition of existing mechanical systems.

• Strong knowledge of local regulations.

• Able to estimate labour for mechanical installation work.

• Skilled in troubleshooting ACMV faults.

• Strong leadership and client-handling abilities.

• Willing to learn and develop deeper expertise in assigned equipment.

Education & Experience

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering fields.

• At least 3 years of hands-on ACMV or relevant experience.

• Good understanding of construction and building processes.

• Strong communication skills and able to work well with non-technical staff.

• Good problem-solving skills and able to handle on-site issues.

• Certified Facilities Management Expert (Tier 4) will be an advantage.
