Electrical Product Support Engineer (Junior) - #1125510

PURPOSE OF JOB

To support the development, management, and daily operations of T&J’s wiring accessories and control systems—including sockets, switches, room control units (RCU), and thermostats. This role assists internal teams and customers with technical enquiries, product documentation, and quality requirements. Guidance will be provided, and fresh graduates with relevant electrical or engineering backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Management & Technical Support

• Assist Sales and Marketing teams with product selection, technical information, and project support.

• Support Customer Service by responding to technical enquiries accurately and promptly.

• Help prepare and update product documentation such as catalogues, data sheets, technical notes, and test certifications.

• Ensure product test reports and certificates are kept current and well organised.

• Participate in internal and external product training sessions when needed.

• Assist with annual warehouse stock-take activities.

2. Product Development & Engineering Support

• Support the development and enhancement of system solutions (hardware, firmware, and software), including RCU and thermostat systems.

• Build demo kits or mock-ups to demonstrate product features and system functions.

• Coordinate with factories and suppliers on new product development tasks and technical improvements.

• Assist in product failure analysis and prepare fault reports for follow-up action.

• Participate in product testing activities such as verification, burn-in tests, and reliability testing.

• Support sales teams (including joint ventures) with engineering drawings, configuration setup, and technical proposals.

• Contribute ideas for continuous product improvement.

3. IT & System Support

• Provide basic internal IT support, including Email, WFH laptops, VPN, VNC, and file server access.
