• Position: Site Mechanical Engineer

• Location: PSA Tuas Terminal/ City Terminal / Jurong Island

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,500 + OT Payable + Variable Bonus

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Shipbuilding and Engineering

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily work schedule with PSA in charge

• Attend daily site work to ensure work safety and proper tools usage

• Check and ensure all safety procedures/ awareness and compliance are adhered to by the team members

• Conduct safety pre-inspection for tools and equipment for validity

• Brief and manage safety briefing with wire ropes replacement team

• Resolve on-site issues with both wire ropes team and PSA personnel

• Engage with PSA engineers and PSA manage for feedback and new technical procedures / requirements on Site work

• General administrative duties

Requirements:

• Diploma /Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience

• Good communication & interpersonal skills
