Research Officer, Shimadzu-CGH Clinomics Centre (2-yr contract) - #1124755

Responsibilities:

•  Assist the research scientist in smooth operation of the Research Laboratory and in  project implementation

• Assist the respective Principal Investigators (PIs) in experimental execution, including pre-study budget preparation, performing literature background search, protocol validation, data analysis and progress reporting

• Take charge of sample inventory management, storage, preparation for analysis and destruction

• Assist in Research Laboratory safety audits and documentation according to regulatory requirements

• In charge of laboratory consumable procurement and maintenance of equipment and inventories in the Research Laboratory

• Assist in providing technical guidance to attachment students and collaborators.

• To support any new initiatives and/or take charge of newly-assigned projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science or a related field

• 2 to 5 years’ experience in a related field

• Good knowledge of research techniques

• Pleasant interpersonal skills

• A good team player, able to work independently

• Possess initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned
