Position – Senior QS

Job Description:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing cost and contract matters across pre- and post-contract phases. Your responsibilities include:

1. Cost analysis and comparison to support procurement and budgeting decisions

2. Quotation sourcing and negotiation with sub-contractors and suppliers

3. Measurement and quantity take-off for accurate cost planning and progress claims

4. Preparation of Variation Orders, claims, and final account settlements

5. Sub-contractor payment certification and cost control

6. Pre-contract administration including tender documentation and evaluation

7. General QS duties as required to support project delivery

Requirements:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with:

1. 3–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Main Contractor

2. Familiarity with PSSCOC, SIA, and REDAS contracts

3. Degree or Diploma in Building, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent

4. Strong skills in contract negotiation, administration, and variation management

5. Independent, meticulous, and analytical mindset

6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to meet tight deadlines

7. Team-oriented and proactive approach to project challenges

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support our project and contract teams. Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing and analyzing cost comparisons to support procurement decisions

2. Obtaining quotations and negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers

3. Measuring quantities and taking off for cost planning and progress claims

4. Preparing Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, and sub-contractor payments

5. Supporting pre-contract administration, including tender preparation

6. Handling general QS duties as required across project phases.

 Requirements:

1. Fresh graduate or 1–3 years’ experience as a QS with a Main Contractor

2. Familiarity with PSSCOC, SIA, and REDAS contracts

3. Degree or Diploma in Building, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent

4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

5. A team-oriented attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
