Responsibilities:
Assist/ Prepare tax computations for company and individual taxes
Handle quarterly GST report and submission
Assist in month-end closing for management reporting
Knowledge of local tax regulations
Assist in the preparation of full set of accounts i.e. Trial Balance, Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
Responsible for accounting functions including AP, AR, staff claims, petty cash etc.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Proper filing, keep track of accounting records and documents
New Application, renewal and cancellation of foreign worker passes
Prepare all employment-related documents, e.g. employment contact, letter etc
To process monthly staff payroll.
To ensure all payroll payments are in accordance with regulations, including preparation of IR21, IR8A, leave pay and claims etc.
To handle tax clearance matters for employees.
On-boarding / Off-boarding formalities
Provide administrative support and other ad-hoc duties are assigned
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
1 to 2 years of relevant experiences
Good attention to detail and numeracy skills
Mature, organized and independent
