Responsibilities:

• Undertake preventive maintenance of passenger trains, in accordance to the work
  instructions and procedures

• Undertake modification works and fleet wide checks, if required

• Shunt trains when necessary

• Support and assist Senior / Engineer in planning and scheduling of maintenance

• activities

• Undertake works in accordance with procedures and work instructions

• Perform works and documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 practices

• Monitor the status of spare parts, equipment, availability of tools and provide daily maintenance logistic support if required

• Follow the maintenance instructions taught during training for all works carried out

• Alert supervisor of any defect or problem discovered during maintenance or inspection, which could affect the safe operation of trains

Requirements:

• Higher Nitec or Nitec in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering)

• Have strong commitment and strong sense of responsibility to area of work under his charge

• Possesses positive working attitude

• Able to work well in a team

• Have good initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision

• Works well under pressure

• Able to work shifts

• Able to identify colours
