Job Responsibilities:
Generate and issue purchase orders to direct and indirect suppliers.
Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining optimal safety stock levels.
Follow up on delivery lead time, shipment arrivals and claims with vendors.
Timely procurement and managing of safety level stock.
Source and negotiate with new suppliers, including payment terms and contract conditions.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve purchasing-related matters efficiently.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Training will be provided.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of SAP B1 and reporting tools will be an added advantage.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment under tight timelines.
Positive attitude, resourceful, and meticulous in work execution.
