Project Engineer (Semiconductor Construction / Piping Works)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership and supervision for semiconductor plant construction projects, ensuring smooth coordination across all site activities.

• Ensure that all construction works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams to maintain project schedules, quality benchmarks, and deliverables.

• Manage and coordinate all piping and hookup works within semiconductor plant construction projects.

• Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure all specifications align with client requirements, safety, and quality standards.

• Implement construction management best practices to meet project timelines and goals.

• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications, technical standards, and safety regulations.

• Enforce strict quality control and safety protocols on all job sites, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

• Maintain open communication with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and management, providing regular progress reports and updates.

• Support ad-hoc Safety Coordinator duties as required.

• Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in gas, piping, or hookup projects within the semiconductor or construction industry.

• Possess a Diploma or relevant professional qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplines.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple parties.

• Proficient in both English and Chinese to liaise with HQ counterparts based in Taiwan.
