Join the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) as an Occupational Safety and Health Inspection (OSHI) Inspector and play a vital role in ensuring safe working environments across Singapore.
Simplified Job Scope: Your Day-to-Day
Be the Expert: Inspect workplaces, check working conditions, and make sure safety rules are followed.
Investigate: Conduct basic accident investigations when needed to determine causes and prevent recurrence.
Document: Record your entire inspection process accurately, often using a body-worn camera.
Communicate: Explain the inspection purpose and required follow-up actions to workplace personnel.
Report: Collect evidence (photos, documents) and prepare clear inspection reports on your findings.
Enforce: Identify non-compliance and issue warnings or advisories according to protocol.
Key Requirements (What You Need)
You're a great fit if you meet ONE of these experience criteria:
Option 1: At least 3 'O' Levels (or 5 'N' Levels) AND 3+ years of enforcement experience.
Option 2: An Engineering Diploma AND 1+ year of enforcement experience.
Plus, you must also have:
Completed the Specialist Diploma in WSH (Level C WSH Officer).
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
The ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
Bonus points if you have experience in investigation/audit, strong people skills, and a Class 3/3A driving license!
