Purpose of the Role

The Senior Executive, Transformation Office provides essential support to the CEO and CTO in advancing APSN’s transformation and strategic initiatives. This role involves assisting in project coordination and in tracking strategic priorities, and supporting innovation efforts and initiatives. As a trusted team member in the Transformation Office, the Senior Executive plays a vital role in ensuring that projects are well-organized, stakeholders are engaged, and leadership has timely and accurate information to make decisions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic and Administrative Support to the CEO

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and strategic support to the CEO, in coordinating and monitoring key organizational initiatives and Board priorities.

  • Assist in preparing reports, presentation materials, and briefing notes.

  • Follow up on project deliverables and ensure timely updates across relevant departments.

2. Assistance in Transformation Project Implementation and Initiatives

  • Work with the CTO and project teams to help track progress of strategic projects and initiatives.

  • Maintain dashboards, timelines, and status updates to support project oversight.

  • Assist in organizing cross-functional meetings, documenting outcomes, and tracking follow-up actions.

3. Sector Research and Innovation Support

  • Conduct research on industry trends, digital transformation, and emerging practices relevant to the social service sector.

  • Summarize insights into accessible formats to inform strategic discussions.

  • Help identify potential opportunities for innovation within existing programmes or services.

4. Change Management Support

  • Contribute to the development of communication and training materials related to change initiatives.

  • Support internal engagement efforts to promote understanding and acceptance of new processes or systems.

  • Coordinate logistics for workshops or capacity-building activities.

5. Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Management

  • Assist in collecting feedback on current processes and propose simple improvements.

  • Help develop and maintain documentation, templates, and toolkits for internal use.

  • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives within and across departments.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Social Services, or related fields.

  • 3–5 years of experience in a project coordination, strategy support, or operations role.

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams or supporting strategic initiatives is preferred.

  • Familiarity with project tracking tools and digital collaboration platforms.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Effective written and verbal communication.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and timelines.

  • Skilled in research, synthesis, and preparation of concise materials.

  • Proficient in tools like MS Office, project dashboards, and digital planning tools.

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.

  • Adaptable, dependable, and calm under pressure.

  • Passionate about contributing to transformation and social impact.
