About the role

Join the team at Atlas Eye Specialist Centre as a Patient Service Associate. This is a full-time position based in the Central Region. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a seamless experience for all who visit our eye care facility.

What you'll be doing

1. Greet and welcome patients, making them feel comfortable and valued

2. Schedule appointments, handle patient inquiries, and process registrations and check-outs

3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files

4. Assist with insurance verification and billing processes

5. Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure a smooth flow of patient care

6. Provide a high level of customer service and contribute to a positive patient experience

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all backgrounds

3. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a busy medical practice

4. Proficiency in using computer systems and medical software

5. A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records

6. A friendly, professional and empathetic demeanour
