Responsibilities
1) The cook performs his duties within the framework of standards and work procedures as defined by the Chief Cook and Management.
2) Support the Chief Cook in development, operation and administration of the kitchen.
3) Responsible for the quality, quantity and appearance of food served.
4) Control the proper utilization of goods and ensure that food wastage is kept to minimum.
5) Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of areas, equipment and utensils placed at his disposal.
6) Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1) Prior experience in a kitchen, preferably in vegetarian
2) Valid Basic Food Hygiene certification
3) N or O Level or ITE
4) Must be comfortable to work in Buddhist temple environment
5) Able to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
