Job Responsibilities:
Commercial Business: Manage client relationships, participate in designing the cloud & renewable energy bidding models and drafting the whole contracts for difficult scenario projects and replying RFQ/SOC based on key account baseline in bidding document.
Negotiate Contract Terms: Take the lead in the contract negotiation and planning of difficult scenario projects, and achieve negotiation objectives, while minimizing contract risk and ensure contract quality. Able to ensure signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
Legal Monitoring: Take charge of the commercial & legal functional review, comprehensive review, and decision-making support for difficult scenario projects.
Commerce Analysis: Responsible in collecting and analyzing local commercial background, customer requirements, industry information and etc.
Business Risk Mitigation: Predict risks in difficult scenario projects, develop measures to successfully mitigate the risks, take the lead in designing E2E risk and assumption management solutions, and effectively resolve major disputes. Or take the lead in improving mid- and long-term key contract clauses of key account departments, and undertake difficult tasks in the contract fulfillment phase.
Job Requirements:
Preferably Degree in law as in-house lawyer or with a reputable commercial law firm or equivalent.
Preferably with 3 years and above experience in contract commercial manager post in contracting matters, experience in international contracting assignments.
Exposure in IT-related, telecommunication, cloud or renewable energy industry and litigious matters will be an advantage.
Strong Legal/contract analytical skills with a good eye for details and sound knowledge of general corporate and contract law.
Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and to meet critical deadlines during tender period.
Able to work well both independently as a legal professional and custodian of the company’s policies and as well as working collaboratively as part of a diversified team.
Strong communication skill in Mandarin, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the China HQ team.
