 What will you be doing?

You will work alongside with colleague currently handling the shipment to go through the necessary training and assist them to prepare the documentation and understanding the full process.

·       Issuing of contract for shipment and checking of schedule with shipping line and forwarder to arrange smooth in/out within operations ground.

·       Track / Update operations on loading and shipment schedule

·       Coordinate with shipping line / forwarder / Haulier and operations for necessary movement of the container

·       Prepare full set shipment documentations for different destination (Invoices, Packing Lists and Delivery notes, FTA etc).

·       Checking operations packing list to ensure weight accuracy with Weighbridge

·       Coordinate with relevant agency for issuance of insurance

·       Coordinate with customer on documents amendments.

·       Preparation of bank documents for submission (L/C, DP Etc)

·       Maintaining records of agent renumeration against shipment

·       Application of necessary licenses require for certain shipment

·       Maintain records of certain shipments for regulatory reporting

·       Full spectrum of shipment related correspondence and duties

What we are looking for

·       Minimum 2 years of working experience in Shipping functions with experience in handling shipping documentation.

·       Meticulous and independent.

·       Fast learner

·       Understand and perform trade and customs-related processes such as Tradenet, Portnet, and Networked Trade Platform (NTP)
