Senior Purchasing Officer / Officer - #1123124

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and source alternate suppliers to mitigate supply risk upon receiving RFQs from internal customers.

• Conduct supplier audits and periodic supplier performance reviews to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Evaluate suppliers and manage supplier risk, including resolving supply issues (cargo damages, shipment delays, payment verification, etc.).

• Negotiate contract terms and draft/fine-tune agreements for management decision-making.

• Process daily purchase orders, coordinate order amendments/spec changes, and ensure compliance with purchasing protocols.

• Prepare summary reports and handle ad-hoc requests as assigned.

• Focus on cost reduction and minimizing price increases without compromising quality or compliance.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in an MNC, preferably in the electronics industry.

• Experience in supplier audits, supplier evaluation, and risk management.

• Demonstrated team lead potential, with strong attention to detail and a collaborative working attitude.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure with a sense of urgency.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

• Basic working knowledge of SAP system is an advantage.
