Job Summary 

If you are looking for test engineering experience, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! We are looking for Test Engineering Assistant that will support in setting up and conducting experiments/tests, compiling and analyzing the data. 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: 

• Perform troubleshooting & root cause identification on tester related issues up to circuit board component level and ensures equipment resolution in timely manner.

• Support for test data collection, analysis & yield improvement.

• Perform preventive/corrective maintenance for all test stations.

• Support for all test related improvements and new test stations set-up.

• Develops and updates manufacturing procedures and related documentation including RA, LOTO, SWP, ESR for test processes.

• Works with internal supplier quality engineer to resolve non-conforming electrical components/assembly.

• Supports implementation of GMS requirements.

• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor based on business needs.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Knowledgeable in common lab test equipment operation like multi-meter, power supplies and oscilloscope.

• Knowledgeable in subassembly and circuit board functional testing

• Knowledgeable in troubleshooting equipment failures up to circuit board component level

• Knowledgeable in PLC, Automation skills, Power BI or programming skills will be an added advantage

• Good to have soldering skills

• Good teammate, communication(written/verbal) and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or any related field.

• Have at least 3 years of related manufacturing experience.
