Planning Engineer - #1123059

Job Scopes:

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction works with project managers and site teams.

• Support the preparation and review of shop drawings, master construction schedules, micro schedules, and procurement schedules.

• Monitor project progress and highlight critical activities to ensure timely completion of works.

• Assist in developing and updating project schedules using Primavera (P6) or other planning software.

• Help prepare resource and cost loading, and identify critical paths for effective project control.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities for project-related matters.

• Prepare and update progress reports, histograms, S-curves, and other project tracking documents.

• Support in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for client submission.

• Perform other planning and coordination tasks as assigned by the Project or Planning Manager.
  

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Building Construction Management/ Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Prefer with those who have LTA, MRT, Buildings, C&S work experiences.

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in planning of construction works.

• Able to apply critical path method techniques and sound knowledge in construction sequence.

• Familiar with the Programming software(s) for construction planning and monitoring, and experienced in the use of Primavera.

• Good written and interpersonal skills.

• Positive working attitude and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
